If you haven't heard already, Victoria is having the worst bush fires in Australian history. Worse than Ash Wednesday. [link] They've called it Black Saturday (More info here [link] A bit outdated, but it'll do.). That just sounds so bad.. Black Saturday. So many people have died. The official count right now is 181 people, and more than a thousand homes have burnt to the ground. The fires are half an hour away from here... it makes me a bit nervous. I mean, it's at Healesville. I used to LIVE there. My dad WORKED there for about.. 16 years! I cannot imagine it being burnt to the ground. o.o The light here, half an hour away from the fires, have been tinted yellow from the smoke. Creepy stuff, really.
But it is really nice to see how much Victorians, and really all of Australia, are chiping in to help rebuild the towns that have been destroyed in the fires. Last I heard, more than $75 MILLION DOLLARS have been raised to help rebuild towns, get resources, etc. And yes, I did donate a bit. Just $50 dollars, but I AM only 13. I didn't have much more. xD

First full week back at school was ok. Got my art captain badge. And a BUTLOAD of maths homework. It's no fair. D:
Oh, and I also finished my Kappa. Tomorrow hopefully I'm going to go out to a park or something close enough and do some photos. Look forward to that ok? ;D
Also, I just wanted to mention, that *kickass-peanut's plushie designs have been stolen for a t-shirt. Just... sad. I really hope for her sake, that matter gets resolved.
Guess that's the down-side of being popular.
